The Sweet Custom Jewelry Team

Sweet Custom Jewelry is the brainchild of husband and wife duo, Bob and Alissa Sweet, who share their passion for craftsmanship. Both hailing from Michigan—Bob from DeWitt and Alissa from Okemos—they crossed paths while working together at a local jewelry store, eventually becoming the store's custom experts.

Their journey took a romantic turn when Bob mustered the courage to ask Alissa out, forever altering their lives. Fast forward, after a year and a half of love and companionship, Bob popped the question, and in October 2014, they tied the knot.

Fueled by their shared love for crafting unique jewelry, Alissa launched Sweet Custom Jewelry's Facebook page, attracting a flood of orders. The lovebirds, now married, dreamt of owning their own retail space. The quaint charm of Old Town, Lansing, beckoned to them, and they knew they had found their perfect location.

Their dreams materialized when their real estate agent stumbled upon a spot that hadn't hit the market yet. With excitement and determination, Sweet Custom Jewelry opened its doors in September 2015.

Their dedication and exceptional craftsmanship have earned them the prestigious title of #1 Jeweler in the "Top of The Town" awards for consecutive years, from 2017 to 2024!
